Fees and Payment
Individual Therapy Session (50 minutes) CAD $160+HST
Individual therapy sessions are usually 50 minutes. HST is charged separately.
Extended Individual Therapy Session (80 minutes) CAD $256+HST
Recommended for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Lifespan Integration sessions. An extended therapy session allows more time for reprocessing and healing.
I accept credit card payments from most major credit card companies.
Insurance
In Ontario, OHIP does not cover the cost of mental health-related services.
If you have extended health insurance or your company benefits cover the cost of psychotherapy, I will provide an invoice after each session for you to submit reimbursement.
Insurance plans differ from each other; while some plans cover psychotherapy costs, some may not.
Please call your insurance company to check if your insurance plan covers psychotherapy services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist.
Initial appointment
(1) If you'd like to start therapy right away, please email ruidizhutherapy@gmail.com to schedule an appointment.
Please briefly write about what you hope you address in therapy. I will respond to emails within 48 hours.
(2) After we've determined a meeting time, I will send a video conference link by email.
I also offer free 20-minute video consultation sessions.
